Who are the courses intended for ?

Our selection of Signal Integrity courses is diverse and includes both introductory courses for beginner engineers and advanced courses for experienced engineers. The courses are intended for all engineers involved in the design, qualification, and manufacturing of products that contain high-speed digital interfaces/high-frequency analog, such as board design, layout, signal integrity, RF, verification, integration, system, and process manufacturing.

About the courses

So far, hundreds of top engineers from Israeli high-tech industries have participated in ZEROBER’s Signal Integrity courses. The courses have been taught for 13 years and receive many accolades, as evidenced by feedback. The content balances theory (not too much but not too little) with practical knowledge, incorporating tens of practical examples from simulations, measurements, and real-world circuits. The courses summarize tens of practical design guide-lines in a multi-constrain environment; their purpose is to teach engineers the practical side of Signal and Power Integrity along with an understanding of all the constraints, tradeoffs, and connection to the PCB/PKG production processes. All of these will teach and train engineers to deal with Signal Integrity challenges in the best, quickest, and least expensive way and to base their designs on knowledge rather than old and dangerous rules of thumb. The courses equip participants with simple and intuitive formulas that allow them to quickly and simply check whether there is potential for Signal Integrity problems, in order to avoid wasting time and resources. At the same time, with advances in technology and digital data rates, ZEROBER also offers advanced courses to meet new Signal Integrity challenges.

About the lecturer – Dror Haviv

Dror received his Master of Science (M.Sc) degree in Electrical Engineering with honors from the Electromagnetic and Microwave program at Ben-Gurion University (Beer-Sheva, Israel). He is one of Israel’s leading Signal and Power Integrity (SI/PI) engineers and has years of design, analysis, measurement, and teaching experience in the Signal Integrity field behind him.

Today, Dror serves as a Technologist at the Signal and Power Integrity team at Western Digital ASIC platform engineering organization. His job duties include flash controllers’ (ASIC) Signal and Power Integrity design, silicon die and package co-design, modeling, system level Signal and Power Integrity simulations and correlation analysis of die/package SI/PI parameters between simulation and measurement results.

2010-2019, Dror served as the Signal Integrity Focal Point and Architect of the R&D division at Rafael. As a Signal Integrity Architect, he designed, analyzed, simulated, and measured dozens of systems and high-speed PCBs. As focal point, he has qualified, educated, trained, and supervised many engineers in the Signal Integrity field. Simultaneously, he served as a Senior Signal Integrity Cooperate Researcher and has conducted several research projects in the field. His research has been presented in conferences on Signal Integrity, both in Israel and abroad.

Course Types

  • Private courses: The subjects will be built in collaboration with the client and customized to the company’s needs.
  • Public courses: at the same time, ZEROBER works in collaboration with leading colleges where it teaches Signal and Power Integrity courses. A public course is especially suitable for small companies with few engineers.
